About Recovery Codes

Recovery codes are single-use backup codes for two-factor authentication. Use one in place of a TOTP code if you lose access to your authenticator app.

• You can use each code once
• After use, the code is automatically replaced with a new one
• Store these codes in a safe location separate from your device
• If all codes are used, they continue to cycle, but generating new codes resets your secret key
